Asus Zenfone 6 is launched. The Taiwanese giant launched the smartphone at an event in Spain. It is the new flagship from Asus which has some high-end specs. Moreover, the smartphone comes with a rotating camera as we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy A80. This reduces the over bezel of the device and there is no notch on the front of the screen. But, what’s different from Samsung’s camera is that the A80 camera needs to pop-up from its base position to allow the camera to rotate. However, the implementation in the Asus Zenfone 6 is different. They have made it simple. The motorized dual-camera setup present on the back of the Asus ZenFone 6 simply rotates vertically to face the user of the phone.

Moreover, the company has added a fall protection option. This makes the camera to retract back inside whenever the smartphone feels sudden movement. This technology is the same as we can see on the Oneplus 7 model.

The price of Asus Zenfone 6 starts at EUR499 (approx INR39,100) for the 6GB/64GB variant. The premium model of the phone that packs 8GB/256GB is priced at EUR599 (approx INR43,800). It will be available from the Asus eShop. Shipping will start from May 25.  But, it is not clear how the consumers from India will buy the phone. Besides, the company has launched two colors for the Zenfone 6; Midnight Black and Twilight Silver.
