The super-useful Always On Display is not an exclusive anymore! In this guide, we will tell you how you can enable Always On Display on any Android device. And the best part is that you don’t even need root to get this feature!
Android devices have come a long way in terms of customization and functionality in the recent years, thanks to Google. Every year, when a phone is released, I begin to think about what OEMs will come up with their next flagship device to wow the audience. And most of the times, they succeed in getting the user’s attention and in turn, their money as well.
With every passing year, there are a lot of new functionalities, large and small, are being introduced into the Android ecosystem. One such feature is the Always On Display, which Samsung first unveiled in their flagship device. Slowly, other manufacturers have also started implementing this, but, sadly, not all devices get it. In this guide, we will tell you how you can get Always on Display on any Android device.
Always On Display for All Android
Always On Display is not a must-have feature and maybe, that is the reason why not all the Android devices have not been updated to get this. But users absolutely love this nifty little feature.
Always On Display keeps the phone’s screen turned on even after the user hits the lock button; displaying useful information such as time, notifications, alarms etc. This tech is seen implemented most on devices with AMOLED display as they are more efficient in the way they handle the Always On Display functionality.
Now, a developer has implemented this functionality in an app which can be installed on literally any Android device.

As the app is available for download right from the Google Play Store, it would be pretty obvious by now that you do not need root to install it. Please keep in my that this is intended for any Android device with AMOLED Display.
You might be able to install this on devices with LCD/TFT display but we don’t recommend that as the battery drain will be huge!
Simply install the app from Google Play Store and follow the on-screen instructions and you should be good!
